Commissioned by Selfridges, SuperFutures imagined a future in which every material carries lasting cultural and economic value. The installation reconfigured reclaimed industrial materials into speculative products that blurred the distinction between commodity, artefact and resource. Presented within a retail environment, the work invited visitors to imagine alternative systems of ownership and exchange in response to an increasingly finite material future.
