Stones of Repair

Stones of Repair investigates how acts of repair can reconnect people with the places they inhabit. Reclaimed London bricks are engraved with patterns collected from the neighbourhoods they return to, drawing on details from churches, markets, pubs and everyday architecture. Removed from demolition sites before being reintroduced into new construction, each brick carries fragments of local identity back into the city’s fabric.Currently being installed in three London boroughs.
